This thing has some major backbone and balances nicely. I ended up ordering the 6'11" that is listed for Froggin/Pitchin action and it is a beautiful rod. I'm slowly replacing my entire arsenal with Experts.Ĭomments: I have a couple of the Falcon BuCoo rods and I've been really happy with them so I thought I'd try another Falcon rod. I like pitching and flipping with a slightly shorter rod and the Amistad XH is incredible for those techniques. My favorites are the Head Turner and Amistad, but I love every one of them. I have 7 of these now (6 casting and 1 spinning). They have actions for every technique, but several rods in the lineup can be used for multiple techniques. Very impressed with this rod at the $200 price point.Ĭomments: The best rods in the $200 price range. Super light and comfortable with plenty of power to spare. This is now the only rod I will buy and is the only rod I can sit on my front deck and comfortably fish for 10-12 hoursĬomments: Got the 6'11" for pitching jigs. They sent me a replacement rod immediately and I have been very happy with the new one.Ĭomments: I've tried lots of different rods trying to find what I like the best so I bought some Lowriders and loved them then eventually bought an expert. I called Falcon and sent them a picture of where the rod broke. It was on the second trip I took with the rod. It broke two inches above the handle when I set the hook on a two pound fish.

They sent me a replacement rod immediately and I have been very happy with the new one.Ĭomments: First, I will talk about the bad. Defiantly will be picking up more.Ĭomments: First, I will talk about the bad. Over all these are a bargain for what you get. They are not nrx sensitive but I can defiantly feel what is going on on the end of the line. I am very impressed at how sensitive they are. Both are very lite for there size and rating.

Both have exceeded my expectations for this price point. I've got the lowrider, expert, cara and love em all.Ĭomments: I have the 7' heavy and the 7'3" heavy rods. These falcon rods are really good light sensitive and durable.
